What Can Puddle Lane Play?
Listen closely and you may hear the melodies and sounds coming from our children’s nursery in Renfrewshire.
Tremendous fun was had as we experimented with different musical instruments. The little ones made some music as they put together a melody with a chime, a bang, a shake and a tap.
The benefits of musical instruments for babies and toddlers
- Develop gross motor skills through strumming a ukulele and banging cymbals.
- Gain an understanding of the senses and hear the different noises an instrument can make. A light tap can make the cymbals chime whereas a mighty crash creates a bang.
- Enhanced hand-eye coordination can be a result of playing musical instruments.
